Foreword
In order to allow the best use the GSA weighing indicator, it is necessary to briefly explain the correct functioning of the weighing indicator. For the correct use of the weighing indicator, it is necessary to set out:
- All the features of the ingredients to load (on all GSA models)
- The recipes to load (for the models provided with automatic loading)
- The time programs (by request) available on the weighing indicators provided with automatic loading.
WEIGHING INDICATORS PROVIDED WITH SINGLE LOADING
The weighing indicators provided with single loading can load a single component at a time, by means of a particular mode named “Single loading”. In this mode you just have to set out the component parameters and the component quantity to load. After that, the system moves on to the loading phase, where the component quantity set out is dosed.
WEIGHING INDICATORS PROVIDED WITH AUTOMATIC LOADING
In the GSA weighing indicators provided with automatic loading the programmed quantities of one or more ingredients, named “Recipes”, are loaded. The automatic loading procedures consists of two phases: the first one is the “component loading”, during which the different programmed components are loaded; the second phase is optional and is called “emptying”: during this phase, the loaded recipe is unloaded into a selectable unloading line. In this mode the user can set out the recipe’s total quantity to load and the percentage of the different components composing it, while the total quantity to load is automatically calculated by the weighing indicator; otherwise, it is possible to directly program the quantities to load of the different components.
The following diagram shows the correct way of programming the GSA weighing indicator in automatic loading mode:
In the following, the scheme above is described in a more detailed way, analyzing each single step.
